Romney endorsed McCain this afternoon. Here’s the article from CNN Politics: Sources: Romney to endorse McCain for GOP nomination. Romney asked his delegates to get behind McCain. If they all do: McCain will only need 78 more to get the nomination. So we are getting close to the end for the Republicans I think.

So, I think this one is wrapped up for McCain, Congratulations.

Super Tuesday is gone. No one got what they wanted. No one did that poorly. This race will continue. Here are the Delegate Numbers up to today. NOTE: Not all the Super Tuesday Delegates are in… There were1,681 up for grabs on the Democrat side, only 1,151 are reporting as of right now. Of the 1,020 Republican Delegates up for grabs only 901 are reporting. So here are the numbers! (Numbers from CNN Politics as of Wed Feb 6th 6:50 p.m. Central Time)

(Edwards, Biden, Kucinich, Richardson and Dodd are already out at the time I posted this, so I did not include them.)

So McCain is leading on the Republican side but both Huckabee and Romney say they will fight on. Clinton still leads on the Democratic side, but Obama is closing the gap and vows to fight on.

So here are all the results from Super Tuesday. I’ll be keeping it updated though the evening. I will be watching ABC News on the TV, with our local ABC station: ABC 7 Chicago. I will be keeping tabs on CNN Politics on the internet.

Note: The official delegate counts probably won’t be out till tomorrow or Thursday. These are estimated delegate counts, based on the popular vote.

1,681 Delegates are up for grabs in the Democratic Party, 1,020 in the Republican Party

I will be updating as I get information.

I will have a post-game with a final delegate count either Wed or Thurs.
